What is AIMHIGH PEER LEADERSHIP?

The premier leadership development and peer mentorship program for students at every level of the educational pipeline The purpose of the AIMHigh Peer Leadership  is to provide support for freshmanand transfer students in their transition to your institution.  AIMHigh Peer Leadersaretraditionallyjuniors and seniors who have shown an interest in helping others, shown leadership skills and arewilling to berole models in the classrooms both academically and behaviorally.  All peer leadersare matched with student mentees based oncommon interests. 

Requirements for AIMHigh Peer Leaders

REQUIREMENTS .....

1. Must be a member of the AIMHigh Empowerment Institute
2. Attend all AIMHigh Peer Leadersmeetings (1 time per marking period)
3. Receive AIMHigh Peer Leadershiptraining

REQUIREMENTS CONT'D.....

4.Assist with open houses & orientation when asked by advisors
5.Complete a journal entries after meeting with their mentee throughout the year.
6.Minimum of 100 hours of community service/volunteer hours.
